This great little item was found in the basement of the Eggleston Drug Company store in Laramie, Wyoming, amongst hundreds of other excellent items. It seems that the original owner Frank Eggleston would take most old unsold stock downstairs and store it, rather than dispose of it, even when it was being replaced by newer stock, or even when it was simply unsalable. I was lucky enough to get possession of some of these vintage items, many dating from before 1880, and I will be placing them here soon for your perusal. The Eggleston Drug Company operated from around 1880 to about 1920, when it was sold to A. H. Cordiner who previously owned a pharmacy of his own, quit and went to work for Frank. Then later he bought it out, changing it to Cordiner Drug Store.
Just a word of warning….. this is NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. This is a vintage collectible, worthy of framing.
