For that ardent researcher and archivist of all things Wyoming, this will certainly fill a niche in your library.
Measuring 11″ by 8″, and almost 3/4 inch thick, this yearbook from the 1912 class of Wyoming State University in Laramie is just the ticket. More than a hundred years old, it has held up remarkably well. Some light stains, some darkening of edges, and one or two lightly damaged edges, probably from set coffee, but other than that, the volumes of history it can speak will fill the air around you.
Hansen, Hunter, Johnson, Butler, Biddick, McGrath, Aber, Worthington, Langheldt, Peryam and Keeney are just some of the names being slowly covered by the dust of history, soon to be lost forever. Have you heard of Sam Fuller, or C. Q. Burgess, or perhaps Harry “Heavy” Hill? Famous and well-loved names of football players back in that day.
As an added bonus, I am including a small newspaper that was found with the book. This is a regularly issued item sent to owners of the Majestic Radio, a rather well-done item issued in September 1931. With only two folded sheets, this full-sized newsletter has some rather glorious colored pictures! It is not in the best of condition, but with a little love and attention, it could be repaired. Even better, frame it!
