Offered here is a very nice find, a partially full bottle of Double Cola Jr., with the original cap. This was bottle at the Peoria Squirt Bottling Co., Peoria, Illinois, as printed on the riffled edges of the cap.
This is probably mid fifties or sooner, with the bottom embossing 9 and 47 on either side of the diamond logo, G 1369 and PAT APPLIED FOR above the logo DURAGLASS. On the front obverse label states MADE OF COSTLY FLAVORS FROM FOREIGN LANDS, just above the statement FLAVOR FROM SEMINOLE FLAVOR CO. MIN CONTENTS 7 1/2 FL. OZS.
On the reverse label it states A REAL CARBONATED COLA BEVERAGE CONTAINING THE EXTRACTIVE MATTER OF KOLA NUTS AND COCA LEAVES (DECOCANINIZED) BLENDED WITH NATURAL FLAVORS. Wow, what a mouthfull! Check my photos for full descriptions of this great item.
